Marine Biological Association
The iconic Citadel Hill Laboratory provides a perfect venue, with breath-taking sea views for a range of events, filming, courses, university field trips, conferences and meetings. As well as the Wolfson Training Centre and Resource Centre with fully equipped laboratory space and conference or training venue, the Citadel Hill Laboratory has a number of smaller meeting rooms and spaces available for hire and with catering if needed.

Plymouth Marine Laboratory
Opened in October 2011, PML’s Marine Matters Centre MMC provides a modern, fit-for-purpose facility for medium to large scale presentations, events and conferences.

In the heart of the city centre and with only a 15 minute walk to Plymouth Sound, our broad range of facilities includes meeting rooms, lecture theatres with seating capacities from 90–280 as well as exhibition venues, galleries and large open atria spaces all of which are fully accessible and can be complemented by high-quality catering and leading-edge audio-visual technology.
The Marine Station, pictured here hosting the Scientific Committee on Oceanic Research Annual Meeting, is part of our waterside campus. In addition to the great views out across Plymouth Sound, it has space with movable walls which can be configured to the size of the meeting or event.
